Tere Janamdin par…..

17th November, 2018 – As you grow a year older, wiser and prettier, you should know -with every passing year I understand your importance in my life more and more, and so these lines just occurred to me in the form of a poetry, like never before…..

So here goes, MY FIRST HINDI POETRY for you, dear Usha, on your birthday, that I titled – “Tere janamdin par“ —

Tu mili mujhe aise,

Koi kahaani sach ho jaise.

Vishwas hua na tha kabhi,

Ke hum bhi kaabil hain teri dosti ki.

Pyaar diya, bharosa diya, mehsus karwaya ki dost aise bhi hote hain,

Jo parivaar ki tarha tere khushi mein khush hote, aur dard mein rote hain.

Tu rehti hain saath mere, har waqt, dikhati hain sahi disha,

Jab chalna mushkil ho jaye zindagi mein, tu banti hain mera hausla.

Kitne door hain ab ek dusre se hum,

Do alag desho mein, rehte parivaar sang.

Par har ghari yaad aati hain jo pal hum bitaaye saath,

Tu meri sabse pyaari saheli hain Usha, kabhi na chhorungi main tera haath.
